Adrian Gonzalez Death, Uncle And 4-Year-Old Nephew Killed After Crash In Fresno County

Adrian Gonzalez Obituary, Death –Tragedy struck in Fresno County on Friday morning, resulting in the loss of an uncle and his 4-year-old nephew, while leaving multiple individuals injured in a devastating crash. The California Highway Patrol reported that the incident occurred at the intersection of Jefferson and Bethel, just before 8 am. According to officers, a Honda was traveling east on Jefferson and proceeded through a stop sign. Unfortunately, at this intersection, the right-of-way belongs to Bethel Avenue, and vehicles on Bethel do not have stop signs.

As a result, the Honda was struck by an oncoming Chevy SUV, driven by a 45-year-old woman. The collision caused both vehicles to veer off the roadway and into a nearby vineyard. A Good Samaritan witnessed the crash and attempted to offer assistance. However, the impact had tragic consequences. The Honda’s occupants, 27-year-old Adrian Gonzalez and his 4-year-old nephew, Enrique Flores Jr., lost their lives in the collision. Tragically, young Enrique was not properly restrained in a child restraint seat, booster seat, or seat belt at the time of the accident.

Five other passengers who were in the Chevy were transported to the hospital for medical attention. Mike Salas, a representative from the CHP, emphasized the need for extreme caution when traveling through such areas in the county. He noted that many intersections lack four-way stops, underscoring the importance of vigilance when approaching these junctions. The crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the circumstances surrounding this heartbreaking incident.
