Angel Goatley Obituary, Death – With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Angel Irene Goatley, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who departed this world on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown at the age of 48. Angel’s life was a testament to her selflessness and her unwavering love for her family and the outdoors.

Angel’s love for her grandchildren was boundless, and she found immense joy in spending time with them. She had a deep appreciation for the serenity of the lake and the beauty of the great outdoors, where she often sought solace and tranquility. She is survived by her devoted husband, Randall Morgan, and her loving children: Mason (Bridgette) Goatley of Hodgenville, Coty (Kane) Beckwith of Elizabethtown, and step-daughter Katie (Michael) Manning of Hodgenville.

Angel’s brother, Chris Montgomery of Sonora, shared a special bond with her. Angel leaves behind a legacy of fifteen cherished grandchildren, each carrying a piece of her kind spirit and warm heart: Kaya, Roan, Jace, Noah, Lorissa, Brooklynn, Macie, Caden, Emmi Lou, Chris, Billy, Saphire, Remington, Ryan, and one on the way.

Angel was preceded in death by her father, Milford Montgomery, but her memory lives on in the hearts of her family and friends. A celebration of Angel’s life will be held on Sunday, September 10, at 4:30 p.m. at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville, with Bro. Billy Curle officiating. Following the service, cremation will take place.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Angel Irene Goatley’s legacy of love, selflessness, and appreciation for the beauty of life will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
