Angela Zahn Obituary, Death –Angela S. Zahn, aged 39, of Neenah, passed away suddenly on September 4, 2023, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah. Angela was born on June 1, 1984, to Carl Jr. and Sue Zahn. She received her education at St. Martin Lutheran and Clintonville Schools, where she graduated in 2002. She later moved to the Fox Valley, where she established her home and roots. Angela was a loving and nurturing mother to her children.
She was hardworking and cherished her role as a Manager at US Bank. Her passion for travel was well-known to all who knew her, as she loved exploring new places with her family. Angela had a strong connection to her faith and was a member of St. Martin Lutheran Church in Clintonville before moving to the Fox Valley. She continued her spiritual journey through Pathways in Appleton. Angela touched many lives, and she has undoubtedly become an incredible angel in God’s embrace.
She valued every moment spent with her family and actively contributed to charitable causes. She generously supported overseas charities, volunteered at homeless shelters, and participated in Special Olympic events with children. Her memory will forever be cherished by her mother, Sue Zahn; father, Carl Jr. Zahn; and brother, Carl R. Zahn, along with a vast extended family throughout Wisconsin who loved her dearly.
Angela is survived by her fiancĂ© and partner of 12 years, Scott Gilliam; their son, Justice Gilliam; Angela’s son, Jordan Peters; Scott’s children, Payton and Brynn Gilliam; her parents, Carl and Sue Zahn Jr.; paternal grandfather, Carl Zahn Sr.; her brother, Carl R. (Yolanda) Zahn, and their daughter, Zoey; and Scott’s parents, Dave and Donna Gilliam, among numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Robert and Lulabelle Klemp; paternal grandmother, Paula Zahn; uncles, Mark and David Zahn; and a nephew, Lincoln Zahn. A memorial service to celebrate Angela’s life will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 6 p.m. at St. Martin Lutheran Church in Clintonville, officiated by Rev. Jason Zobel. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family will establish a memorial fund to honor Angela’s memory. They extend their gratitude to the Clintonville Police Department for their prompt attention and assistance during this difficult time.
