Ann Patton Obituary, Death – With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Ann Vereen Patton, a beloved resident of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, who peacefully departed on September 3, 2023, at the age of 75. Ann leaves behind a circle of mourning family and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Abner Wilson Patton Jr. and Ellen Stuart Patton, as well as her brother, William Parker Patton, all of Tuscaloosa. She is survived by her loving children, Laura Vereen Patton of Tuscaloosa and Dr. Ford Vox (Lisa Vox) of Atlanta. Ann’s legacy also lives on through her surviving brothers, Abner Wilson Patton III (DiAnna) and Dr. John Stuart Patton (Layna), as well as her sister-in-law, Pat Armstrong Patton, all of Tuscaloosa.

A graveside service to honor Ann’s memory will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Tuscaloosa Memorial Park (5434 Old Birmingham Hwy, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404). Your presence and support during this service would be greatly appreciated. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Eagles Wings, a cause that held special significance to Ann.
