Bob Jones Obituary, Death –With a heavy heart, I must convey the sad news that I received a message from Bob’s sister, informing me of his passing in the early hours of Thursday morning. His departure was a result of complications arising from a hip fracture. While not everyone among us may have had the chance to play alongside Bob, those who did can attest to his remarkable character. He embodied the essence of a true gentleman, maintaining a calm demeanor at all times—perhaps a testament to his lifelong career as an airline pilot.

Bob’s presence was cherished at our club, and his absence will be deeply felt by many. Rest in peace, Bob, and may your rolls be forever favorable in the great beyond. The funeral service to honor Bob’s memory will be held at Evesham Crematorium on Friday, September 29, 2023, at 11 a.m. Following the service, a gathering will take place at The Chequers Inn in Fladbury.
