Cecilia White Obituary, U.S. County, Cecilia White Has Died

Cecilia White Obituary, Death- Cecilia White, who was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, died away on May 25 at the age of 83 while she was at home in the company of her devoted family.

She was able to spend her final days in the company of those she loved the most. She was the daughter of Frank and Marie Sauceda and was born in San Bernardino in 1939. She received her high school diploma from San Bernardino High in 1957. Soon after she graduated from high school, she moved to San Diego, where she met the love of her life, David White. Together, the two of them started a lovely family that would last for 64 incredible years.

They were given the gift of two children, a son named David Jr. and a son named Eddie. In 1972, Cecilia graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in accounting. She began a rewarding career in the federal government, where she excelled in a variety of accounting roles and ultimately earned her Certified Public Accountant certification.

Her unwavering commitment and natural leadership abilities catapulted her to a management position, where she served as a guide and mentor to a group of auditing experts. In 1999, she finally hung up her boots after having devoted herself to the company for 27 years. Cecilia’s tenure as an active volunteer with the Assistance League of Greater San Diego was one of the defining aspects of her retirement. She offered her time and talents without expecting anything in return.

She sang her heart out in the choir at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church in Clairemont, where she had been a faithful member for her whole life. Cecilia and David both had a passion for exploring new places and going on exciting journeys, so they went on a number of cruises and exciting sailing and motor boating trips together.

They had the highest level of membership in the Mission Bay Yacht Club: life membership. Cecilia had a beaming smile that could brighten any room, and she cherished any opportunity to spend time with her large circle of friends and family. Cecilia’s parents and brothers, Frank and Arthur, passed away before she did, and then she did as well.

Her husband, David, her children David Jr. and Eddie, her grandkids Lauren Elizabeth and Sarah Marie, and her sisters Velia, Raquel, Alicia, and Armida will always appreciate the wonderful legacy that she leaves behind for them all.

On the 21st of June, at 11:00 a.m., there will be a memorial ceremony performed at the St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, and a reception will be held at the Mission Bay Yacht Club afterward. Donations to the Assistance League of Greater San Diego are welcome in place of traditional floral tributes, as the family has requested.
