Charles Watson Jr. Obituary, Death – The child who was murdered in what police are calling a targeted shooting at an apartment complex in southwest Atlanta on Wednesday night has been named by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office. The child was six months old. near approximately 8:15 in the evening, reports of gunfire were made near 2909 Campbellton Road SW. The Hills at Greenbriar apartment towers are identified as the location of this address.
According to the investigators, a woman in her twenties, a guy in his twenties, and a baby boy of six months old were all shot. Everyone was transported to the emergency room. The injuries were fatal for the infant who was 6 months old. The patient, who was 23 years old, was said to be in critical condition. According to the police, the 27-year-old man was in a stable condition. The child was officially named Charles Watson Jr. by the authorities on Thursday morning.
According to Deputy Charles Hampton Jr., the shooting was premeditated and appears to be related to an earlier incident of gun violence that took place in May at the same apartment complex. Police are seeking for at least two shooters in addition to a light-colored four-door car.
