Cheryl Hall Obituary, Cheryl Hall Has Died
Cheryl Hall Obituary, Death – Cheryl’s passing has left a void in our hearts that words can scarcely describe. A mere two months ago, she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, and in less than a week, her body succumbed to the ravages of the disease, perforating her colon and causing sepsis to take hold. Cheryl spent her last three days in hospice, where she found peace and solace, surrounded by the love of those who cherished her.
Survived by her 27-year-old son, Ora Tillman (OT) Hall, Cheryl had already endured the loss of her husband, Tillman, who tragically passed away 28 years ago. Her wish was to be laid to rest beside him at the National Cemetery in Mims, FL. Cheryl requested no viewing or elaborate ceremony, hoping that those who knew and loved her would remember the Cheryl we all admired and cherished.
For many years, I had the privilege of working alongside Cheryl at what is now Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD). Cheryl was the epitome of professionalism, an expert in her field who approached her work with unparalleled dedication. However, Cheryl was not all business; she knew the importance of balancing work with camaraderie. Her presence at team events and celebrations was unmistakable. Cheryl was never one to stay silent in the face of injustice, and she was the teammate you were grateful to have on your side.
As we remember and honor Cheryl, let us reflect on the remarkable person she was: a loving mother, a dedicated professional, and a spirited team player. Her legacy will live on in our hearts, and the impact she made on all of us will never fade.
