Danillo Canales Glenn Obituary, Death – The victim of a deadly stabbing that took place on Tuesday evening at a basketball court in Copperfield in southeast Calgary has been identified as an adult male who was 18 years old. The results of an autopsy led to the identification of the victim as Danillo Canales Glenn, according to an update provided by CPS on Wednesday afternoon.

At around 7:45 p.m., police, EMS, and Calgary’s fire rescue services went to the site after receiving reports of a person with significant stab wounds near the parking lot of the Copperfield-Mahogany Community Association in the city’s southeast. The victim was said to be in the vicinity of the Copperfield-Mahogany Community Association.
The victim, who was rushed to the hospital by emergency medical services in a critical condition, ultimately passed away as a result of his injuries.

On Wednesday, the parking area was cordoned off with tape while a small group of law enforcement officers and city officials inspected the situation. The victim and his two friends were on the basketball court when two “unknown” individuals approached them, provoked them into a fight, blasted the victim with bear spray, then stabbed him, according to a statement released by the Calgary Police Department late Wednesday night.

The fatal shooting brings the total number of homicides in Calgary for 2018 to 13. The police are currently looking for assistance from the general public in identifying the two suspects. The first suspect is a young man who is between the ages of 16 and 18, stands at about 5 feet 8 inches tall, and has a lean physique. The last time anyone saw him, he was dressed all in black, from his jeans to his shoes to his hoodie, which was navy blue with a thin black stripe running across the chest and back. According to the police, he was wearing his hoodie at the time of the incident.

The second suspect is similarly between the ages of 16 and 18, and he or she is around 5 feet 8 inches tall, has a slender body, brown eyes, and dark brown or black hair. They both have brown hair. His last known outfit consisted of black shoes, black jeans, a light grey zip-up sweatshirt that had a thin black line running from the chest to the back, and a rectangular Gucci fanny pack that was worn across his chest.
