Donna Lasley Obituary, Death –Donna Marie Carroll Lasley, a cherished member of the Elizabethtown community, peacefully passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2023, at Signature Healthcare of Elizabethtown. Her departure has left a void in the hearts of those who knew her and the community she called home. Donna was a woman of many talents and passions. She graduated from East Hardin High School in 1964, showcasing her commitment to education and personal growth from an early age.

Donna’s artistic spirit shone brightly throughout her life, as she pursued her passion for creating art. As a homemaker, she dedicated herself to creating a warm and loving home for her family. Her commitment to education extended to volunteering at the local school, where she generously shared her time and knowledge. Donna was a loving mother to her two sons, Kevin Lasley and Jeremy Lasley. Her nurturing spirit and dedication to her family were evident in everything she did.

She also enjoyed a close bond with her two sisters, Glenda McFadden and Debbie Fegett, all of Elizabethtown. Family was at the center of Donna’s life, and her love and devotion knew no bounds. In addition to her immediate family, Donna leaves behind a lasting legacy through her two grandsons, Nathan and Patrick Lasley. These young lives were touched by her wisdom, love, and guidance, creating cherished memories that will endure for generations.

The funeral service to celebrate Donna’s life will be held on Thursday, September 7, at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, where friends and loved ones will gather to pay their respects. Following the service, Donna will find her final resting place in the Elizabethtown Memorial Garden. Visitation hours will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home, providing an opportunity for those who knew Donna to come together and share their memories.
