During a tour concert, a fan throws an ash bag towards Pink.

Pink interrupted a recent show to address a fan who tossed a bag carrying their mother’s ashes on stage. The “Raise Your Glass” singer handled it well, though she was understandably perplexed in social media clips. “Is this your mother?” Pink can be heard asking as she picks up the suitcase in a video. “I don’t know how I feel about this.”

The 43-year-old came to the front of the stage with the bag and laid it down before continuing to sing “Just Like a Pill.” Pink was performing at BST Hyde Park in London as part of her Summer Carnival tour, which included two performances there on Saturday and Sunday. On Instagram, she posted a recap video.

“@bsthydepark It gives me great joy to play with all of you. “I am always grateful,” she wrote. Her video did not include the ash-throwing event. Pink’s representative has been contacted for comment. This isn’t the first time a random object has been thrown onto the stage during a concert. While competing for Harry Styles’ attention at New York City’s Madison Square Garden last summer, a fan flung a chicken nugget at him.

And the ash-throwing follows two separate instances at events in the United States that garnered news. Ava Max claimed last week that an audience member smacked her when she was performing at a gig in Los Angeles. The New York Police Department confirmed to USA TODAY that pop artist Bebe Rexha was hospitalized earlier this month after an audience member hurled a phone at her during a concert.
