Ed Meyhack Obituary, Death – We are sorry to inform you that the creator of our organization, Ed Meyhack, passed away at Norfolk General Hospital on Friday, August 25, 2023. His passing was due to natural causes. This is an announcement that we are making with a heavy feeling in our hearts. On Monday, September 4th, beginning at 11:00 a.m., there will be a reception held at Murphy’s Funeral Home in Delhi. This will be followed by a funeral beginning at 1:00 p.m., and the burial will take place in Delhi Cemetery.

Ed is at peace now, and we shall celebrate his life by paying our respects to him once he has passed away. In addition to his roles as a dedicated family member, including husband, father, and grandfather, Ed was a one-of-a-kind commercial entrepreneur. Even though Ed showed his affection and thanks in his own special way, it was abundantly evident that he cared passionately for each and every person he came into contact with during his life.

He instilled in all of us the principles of always bettering oneself, putting in one’s best effort, and doing as much in one’s lifetime as one is capable of achieving. You only get one shot at life, so you should try to make the most of it. Because of this, and in the spirit of the age-old proverb that says “life is uncertain, eat dessert first,” I would ask that you kindly do the following: In celebration of our sweet Ed, raise a slice of cheesecake or a drink (or two) to your lips.
