Etta Thomas Obituary, Death –  It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Etta Thomas from Lancaster, Ohio. On August 26, 2023, at the age of 78, Etta peacefully departed from us, leaving behind cherished memories and a void that will be felt by her family and friends.

To extend your sympathies and pay your last respects, we invite you to leave a message on Etta Thomas’ memorial page. Etta was preceded in death by her parents, Early Roscoe and Mildred Mae Scarberry, as well as her siblings, James Ray Scarberry, Robert Milton Scarberry, and Anna Lee Tucker.

She is survived by her loving husband, Tommy Edward Thomas, and her sister Allie Kline (Jeff). Etta’s legacy lives on through her children, Paul McKinley Parsons (Louise) and Tonya Eileen Cruit (Dave), as well as her step-children, Nancy Moberly (Ted), Jennifer Harmon (Bryan), Douglas Thomas (Cheryl), Dan Thomas (Christine), Herb Thomas, and Harry Thomas. Her numerous grandchildren and great-great grandchildren also carry on her memory, along with nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

A graveside service will take place on Thursday, August 31st, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the Maple Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Fairhope Hospice in honor of Etta’s name. As we gather to remember Etta’s life, let us find comfort in the enduring love and cherished moments she shared with us all.
