Jamie’s roots were deeply embedded in the Pentecostal faith, and he found solace and spiritual connection at Shiloh Temple Church. His faith provided him with strength and guidance throughout his life.
Among Jamie’s greatest passions were the thrill of four-wheeling, the adventure of ginseng hunting, and the artistry of woodworking. He was most at home in the embrace of nature, where he could explore the wild beauty of his surroundings. These outdoor pursuits brought him a sense of peace and purpose that he carried with him in all aspects of his life.
A devoted father, son, and brother, Jamie’s love and care knew no bounds. His daughter, Kristlan, held a special place in his heart, and he cherished every moment spent with her. Jamie’s mother, Ella Louise Riffe Stacey, was a pillar of strength and support, and he shared an unbreakable bond with her.
Jamie’s journey through life was marked by both love and loss. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nikesha Davis Stacey, whose memory he held close. He also mourned the loss of his brother, Eric Stacey, and his grandparents, Charlie and Ethel Bales and Dorothy Riffe.
Surviving Jamie are the cherished memories he created with his family, including his mother Ella Louise, his daughter Kristlan, and his fiancée Latasha Bailey. Latasha’s sons, Christopher, and Luke Bailey, lovingly welcomed Jamie into their lives, along with grandchildren who affectionately called him “Papaw.”
