Jennifer Forkum Obituary, Death – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jennifer Wood Forkum, age 60, on September 2, 2023, at the Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital in Lebanon, TN. Jennifer was a beloved member of the community, and her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
Jennifer’s life will be celebrated in a funeral service on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. The service will be held at the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home in Red Boiling Springs, TN, with Elder Mark Copass officiating. Following the service, Jennifer will be laid to rest in the Beautiful Home Cemetery.
To pay your respects and offer condolences, visitation hours will be held on Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the service begins at 1:00 p.m.
Jennifer is survived by her companion, David Doss of Lafayette, her mother, Minnie Brown Wood of Celina, and her siblings: Vickie & Ricky Rice of Red Boiling Springs, Rosemary Dodson of North Springs, Angie & Josh Strong of Moss, Jerry & Samantha Wood of Westmoreland. She also leaves behind three cherished grandchildren: Logan Spahr, Kurtley Walker, & Cayia Walker, as well as a step-daughter, Emily Doss of Scottsville, KY.
Jennifer was a loving sister, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her warm presence touched the lives of many. In honor of her memory, the family requests that memorials be made to assist with funeral expenses. You can make these memorials by calling or coming by the funeral home.
Jennifer’s legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be remembered for her kindness, love, and the joy she brought to those around her.
