Josiah Maier Obituary GoFundMe, Victim died in a car accident
Josiah Maier Obituary, Death – On August 22nd, Josiah Maier was involved in a car accident that ultimately took his life. He held a special place in the hearts of many people and will be sorely missed. Josiah Maier. JoJo, as some of us were permitted to call him, possessed a heart that was kept hidden. It was impossible to forget his smile, which radiated genuine concern and affection for those around him.
Josiah was a reserved individual until you got to know him, but throughout the years, he has had a significant influence on many of our visitors simply because they have interacted with him in his roles as a lead guide on our ziplines and as an administrator managing events. Josiah was also a maintenance professional who was certified by the state.
He assisted with reviewing and inspecting the safety and dependability of our high ropes, ziplines, and other equipment. A key participant in a Bible study that was led by employees from our Activities Department, in addition to his position here, he was also a key member of that group. It was clear that he had a deep love for the Lord. The sincerity with which he pursued a relationship with the Lord was reflected in the fact that his faith in Christ permeated his very nature and shone brightly for all to see.
Josiah relied heavily on Matthew 6:33 throughout his final year, which states, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” He achieved enlightenment through his pursuit of God’s kingdom, and he now lives in the fulfillment of that promise. As we grieve and mourn Josiah’s passing, we ask that you remember his family and our staff in your prayers. If you have any recollections that you would like to share with me, please do so.
