Juliana Maxwell Obituary, Resident Of Auburn, Died At 83
Juliana Maxwell Obituary, Death- in the age of 83, Juliana Maxwell of Auburn died away in Auburn Village on the evening of Tuesday, August 29, 2023.
She was the daughter of Joseph and Genevieve (Smith) Shoudel and was born on June 19th, 1940 in DeKalb County.
She received her high school diploma from Ashley in the year 1958. At St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Waterloo on April 23, 1966, Juliana and Fred Maxwell exchanged vows in front of family and friends. When she passed away on December 18, 2005, he had already passed away. She left her job at the Rieke Corporation in Auburn in 1968 in order to focus on raising her family. She had worked there since 1964.
After that, she got a job with Phillips Industries in Auburn and stayed there for the next 12 and a half years, until retiring in 1993. Following her retirement from Phillips Industries, Juliana joined her husband at his accounting and tax preparation firm, Maxwell Accounting and Tax Service, where she remained until his passing in 2005. She was a part of the VFW Auxiliary in Waterloo, where she lived, as well as the St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Waterloo. Later, she moved to Garrett.
Both crocheting and gardening were activities that Juliana enjoyed doing when she was younger. In addition to that, she adored the act of baking and cooking. During the holiday season, she would visit her friends and family bearing gifts of her world-renowned baked delicacies. She was famous for this. Her parents, her husband, Fred Maxwell, one of her sons, Robert Maxwell, and one of her brothers, Wilford Shoudel, all passed away before she did.
On Thursday, August 31, 2023, visitation will take place from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, which is located at 875 South Wayne Street in Waterloo. Prior to the funeral mass that will be held at the church at 10:00 AM, there will be additional visitation from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The recitation of the Rosary is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home, immediately following the conclusion of the reception.
On the morning of Friday, September 1, 2023, at 10:00 AM, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael the Archangel Parish, which is located at 1098 County Road 39 north of Waterloo. St. Michael Catholic Cemetery is going to be the location of the burial services.
