Karl valiantly battled Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer for a little over a year, and while our hearts are touched with joy knowing he is now in Heaven, they also bear the weight of sorrow as we grapple with his absence. Jacki, his wife, shared the following message on Facebook:

“Tonight, at 10:40 PM, surrounded by the loving embrace of his children and myself, amid a chorus of ‘I love yous,’ we released Karl into the arms of our Heavenly Father. He fought with unwavering determination.”

Our school community is profoundly saddened by the loss of a visionary leader and a committed educator. Karl’s presence could light up a room with his sense of humor and sharp wit.
