Kathy Sleeper Obituary, Death- The Bullard Independent School District is in deep sadness over the loss of an experienced elementary school teacher who passed away recently.
Kathy Sleeper, the STEAM Lab instructor at Bullard Elementary School, who had been at the school for the previous seven years and had recently undergone surgery, passed tragically suddenly on Sunday after experiencing complications after the surgery. Sleeper had been working at the school for the previous seven years.
According to the notification that was distributed by BISD on Monday, she has been working for the school district for a cumulative sum of twenty years already. This information was disclosed about her. According to Dr. Jack Lee, the superintendent of Bullard ISD, Kathy is celebrating her 20th year of employment with the district.
This year marks the beginning of her 21st year in the district. That is the same as having a positive impact on the lives of several hundred students every single day over the past twenty years. The teaching profession lost a significant and inspirational person when Kathy retired. Because of the amount of affection that her pupils felt for her, it was very obvious that she exemplified what we believe and what we do here at Bullard ISD. She served as a source of motivation for all of us.
The Bullard Independent School District would like the Sleeper family to know that they are in their thoughts and prayers as they go through this extremely trying time. We are sorry for the loss of your loved one. In the event that it is need to do so in order to provide assistance to students and staff members, the local education agency has declared that school administrators and guidance counselors will be present on campus throughout the rest of Tuesday and into the next week in the event that it is essential to do so.
Instead of sending flowers, the family of Sleeper has requested that memorial contributions be directed to the Bullard Education Foundation in Sleeper’s honor. These contributions can be made in lieu of sending flowers. The site of the foundation is as follows: 1426B South Houston Street, Bullard, Texas 75757. You can get in touch with them there.
