For over two decades, he coached baseball, softball, and football with the North Muskegon Youth Sports Club, leaving an indelible mark on countless young lives. His coaching went beyond athletics, instilling values and life lessons that went far beyond the playing field. He served as President of the club and dedicated countless hours to its success.
Marvin’s dedication also extended to Norseman athletics, where he volunteered his time to maintain fields, operate time clocks, and support the programs. Family was at the heart of all he did, and he never missed a chance to watch his children and grandchildren in their sporting events.
A man of deep faith, Marvin was a devoted husband, father, and Papa. He will be profoundly missed by his wife, Janet; children, Dan (Kelli) Wegner and Amanda Cihak; grandchildren, Khi Wegner, Kayla Cihak, and Cameron Cihak; as well as his brothers, Dennis (Joann) Wegner, Wes (Denice) Wegner, and Vern (Tina) Wegner.
