Matt Schneider Obituary, Death- Matthew Rudolph Schneider, who was 62 years old and a resident of Texarkana, Texas, passed away on March 20, 2023 at his residence.
Rudolph John Schneider Jr. and Dorothy Peterson Schneider welcomed their son Matt into the world on November 7, 1960 in the town of Albert Lea, Minnesota Swimming was much easier with Matt as the instructor. Thirteen of those years were spent with the Texarkana Independent School District as the head coach.
and the subsequent five were spent at Henderson State University as an assistant swim coach. When you saw him on the pool deck, it was clear that he had a genuine concern for the children in his class as well as the players in his team. During the period that Matt was a coach in Texas, 62 of his athletes were selected for All-State.
He accomplished this activity 182 times across 24 different events. He selected 37 athletes as Academic All-Americans, 56 athletes for Consideration All-American, and 11 athletes for 1st Team All-American 15 times in 8 events. In total, he made these selections for a total of 77 athletes.
His teams triumphed in 131 district competitions, establishing 74 district records in the process. They also won 27 regional competitions and established 14 regional records, 12 state competitions, and established 2 state records. His mother and father passed away before he was born.
His grandkids, Asher and Noah Murray, as well as his daughter Rebecca Murray and her husband, Blake, all of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his son, Peter Schneider, of Houston, Texas; his brother, Mark Schneider, of Centennial, Colorado; and all of his other relatives are among those who carry on his legacy.
On Saturday, April 1, 2023, at three o’clock in the afternoon, Memorial Services will be place at Texarkana Funeral Home, located at Texas Blvd. The Reverend Matt Graves will officiate the service. Texarkana Funeral Home, located in Texas, is in charge of making arrangements for the cremation.
