Mitch Carpenter Obituary, Death – I am in a state of complete astonishment and absolute sadness after hearing the news that my close buddy Mitch Carpenter has passed away. This month marks exactly 35 years since the first time I met Mitch. We met for the first time. He was one of the generous people who welcomed me very early on in my career in real estate and encouraged me in getting the knowledge that was essential to become a professional.

He was one of the people who helped me get my start in this industry. Mitch helped me build my business in Oregon when I first started working in banking. Later, when I decided to set up Vanport Escrow and Title Company Inc., he was an important factor in turning those aspirations into a reality. When I was in need of some direction, he was one of the people I turned to for assistance. I haven’t talked to him in quite some time; our last discussion was a few months ago. The conversation with him was going to take place soon, but then I realized that he had already left.

I will never forget this man, and I will always be grateful to him for everything that he done for me over the course of his life to make things simpler for me. Marine, may you finally find some peace in death. You will be missed, and our condolences go out to his family and to everyone else who was important to him and to whom he was important.
