Mitchell Cordery Obituary, Death –It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Mitchell Leonard James Cordery, a beloved resident of Hanover, on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at the age of 30. Mitchell was born in Owen Sound on January 9, 1993, to his loving parents, Margaret (nee Bachiu) and Bruce Cordery. Mitchell was a hands-on individual who had a profound passion for woodworking.

When he wasn’t utilizing his skills at Bruce’s Transmission & PowerTrain, where he worked alongside his father as an Auto Mechanic, he found solace and joy in crafting beautiful pieces of woodwork. His dedication to his craft was truly admirable. However, above all, Mitchell was a devoted father to his two precious little girls, Addison and Avery, both residing in Hanover. His love for them knew no bounds, and his memory will forever be etched in their hearts.

Mitchell is survived by his parents, Margaret and Bruce Cordery, who cherished him dearly. He leaves behind his only sister, Meg, and her husband Sylas Soper, with whom he shared a special bond. They also shared a love for tattoos, and this common interest further strengthened their connection. He will be dearly missed by his special aunt, Patti, from Brantford, and her daughter, Tori, from Saskatoon, as well as numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins from both the Cordery and Bachiu sides of the family.

Cremation has already taken place, and a memorial gathering to celebrate Mitchell’s life will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial donations be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association as a heartfelt expression of sympathy during this difficult time.
