Neal Ramasamy Obituary, Death- It is with great sadness and difficulty that Morristown Beard School announces the passing of Neal Ramasamy ’23. Neal was a passionate student and a dedicated and caring friend whose laughter, generosity.

and creativity touched many lives in the #MoBeard community and beyond. We will remember him forever for the remarkable way in which he shared his happiness, optimism, and joy for life. “When I look back on what should have been my darkest time, going through chemo and missing the start of high school, it’s not the hardships I remember,” he said in his Commencement address. “Instead it’s the moments of my family and friends helping me feel loved that linger in my memories.”

Please join us in holding Neal and his family in our thoughts and hearts. Details will follow for a memorial service later this month. Our hearts are broken. We watched Neal grow from an incredible young boy in 6th grade to such a strong, inspirational, special young man at graduation. Neal left his mark on all who were lucky enough to know him.

Sending love and support to the Ramasamy family- you are in all of our thoughts and hearts. This is unbelievably sad news. My daughter Ali and the entire Class of ‘23 were so fortunate to know such an incredible young man. He will forever be in our hearts. Rest in Peace sweet Neal and love and strength to his family.

My heart goes out to Neal’s family. What a special young man who had such a positive outlook. My son called and shared the news with me from college last night and you could tell how deeply saddened he was by losing a classmate. May his memory be a blessing. This is so devastating. Neal was truly special and his graduation speech was a highlight of the day! There was not a dry eye and he truly deserved the standing ovation he received. Sending love to the Ramasamy family.
