Paul Putnam Obituary, Berkshire East Coach has passed away
Paul Putnam Obituary, Death – When we think back on Paul Putnam, it is not only with heavy hearts but also with a lot of fond memories. After a long and difficult battle with illness, our race coach and guide of many years passed away on September 6th.
His teachings, techniques, and style are now in our hands to perpetuate, pass down, and instill in the next generation of young ski racers. According to a well-known proverb, “A good coach can change a game. A good mentor has the power to transform a person. That adage was certainly fulfilled by Paul’s life and ministry.

They can be anything from his famous quotes to a tense moment during a captain’s meeting. They cover the whole gamut. In due time, we will make these available to others, and they will assist in closing a gaping hole in the annals of Berkshire East’s history.
At a date that has not yet been decided, there will be both a Memorial Service and a Celebration of Paul’s Life. Both will be open to the public. Keep an eye out for further information.
In the meantime, please keep his loving family in your prayers and thoughts as they go through this difficult time.
