Randy Faulkner Obituary, Death –  Randy James Faulkner, aged 60, of Ft. Madison, IA, passed away on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 4:05 PM, in the comfort of his home. Randy came into this world on February 13, 1963, in LaHarpe, IL, born to parents James and Susan (Long) Faulkner.

He spent a significant part of his life as a truck driver, working for Shellman’s for several years. In his later years, he transitioned into parts service, serving with CarQuest. Randy’s days were made brighter by the constant presence of his beloved dog and cherished companion, Mika. A dedicated fan, he ardently supported the Dallas Cowboys.

Randy possessed a passion for working on and restoring vehicles, a skill he enjoyed sharing with his sons, grandsons, and customers. His musical taste leaned towards 70’s and 80’s Rock and Roll, with Candlebox and Lynard Skynard ranking among his favorites. Randy had a special affinity for humor and could often be found cracking jokes. His eyes would light up with laughter and mischief, leaving a lasting memory of his one-of-a-kind sense of humor.

Randy’s legacy is carried forward by his surviving family, including two sons: Corey (Jessica) Faulkner of Salem, IA, and Brannnen “Blaze” (Paden) Faulkner of Lincoln, NE. He also leaves behind four grandsons, Aaron, Carson, Gage, and Clayton Faulkner, and his father, Jim Faulkner of Carthage, IL.

Randy’s family extends to include two half-brothers, Shawn (Katie) Stewart of Washington, Jamie Faulkner of Carthage, a stepsister, Tammy Rampley of Burlington, and many aunts, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Sue and Danny Boline, his stepmother, Linda Faulkner, a sister, Becky, and a brother, Eric.

In accordance with Randy’s wishes, his body has been cremated, with the arrangements entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. A celebration of Randy’s life will be held at a later date. Condolences and memories can be shared online at www.kinglynk.com.
