Shallus Beatty Obituary, Death – On Friday, August 18, 2023, in his home in Defiance, Shallus C. Beatty, who was a resident of Defiance, passed away. Shallus and Caroline Beatty welcomed their son into the world on November 26, 1993 in the town of Defiance, Ohio. On July 3, 2017, he tied the knot with Anais Pagan Cruz.
The year 2012 saw Shallus’s graduation from Defiance High School. He competed in all three major sports. During his senior year, Shallus won the wrestling title for the WBL. He played baseball for the entirety of his life and received an honorable mention for football during his senior year. He was employed at Pandrol, which was located in Napoleon, Ohio.
Shallus was a wonderful husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend in addition to being a fantastic father and father-in-law. He had a passion for athletics and shared that enthusiasm by being an engaged and devoted coach, mentor, and cheerleader to all of the children he met. Shallus’s three sons were his pride and joy, and he took great joy in coaching them in various sports and instilling in them the value of always being a good sport. Both the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Pittsburgh Steelers were his favorite teams. He was happiest when he was outdoors fishing or doing anything else he could do with his sons.
Shallus is survived by his wife of six years, his sons Shallus, Kaesen, and Ace, his mother Caroline, his sister Samantha (Josh) Ludwig, and his grandmother Evelyn Shaw, all of whom live in Defiance. Shallus is also survived by his nephews Avery, Oliver, and Chad; nieces Elena, Heather, and Sabrina; and a large number of aunts and uncles. Shallus was married for six years.
