Ta’Kiya Monet’ Yvette Young Obituary, Visitation and Funeral Information

Ta’Kiya Monet’ Yvette Young Obituary, Death – We are saddened to inform you of the demise of Ta’Kiya Monet’ Yvette Young, who was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend to many. It is with a heavy heart and a sense of profound loss that we share this news with you. Ta’Kiya’s vivacious spirit, which she brought into the world on August 1, 2002 in Columbus, Ohio, left an indelible mark on the lives of everyone who had the honor of getting to know her. At the age of 21, she departed this world on August 24, 2023 in Sandusky, Ohio. She had been a resident of the United States.

The trip that Ta’Kiya took through life mirrored her alluring nature and her zeal for experiencing life. At Cedar Point, where she worked, she brought smiles and giggles to the faces of customers, which she found immensely satisfying in her position as a customer service representative. Cooking, dancing, and making videos on TikTok were some of Ta’Kiya’s favorite things to do, and she devoted much of her time to these pursuits since they brought her happiness. When she walked into a room, it was immediately filled with her vivacious energy and playful attitude, which brought joy and laughter to everyone else in the space.

While attending Champion Middle School and Bridgescape High School, the determined athlete Ta’Kiya followed her interest in track and field to pursue her passion for the sport. She accepted her job as a caring mother to her two treasured kids, Ja’kobie and Ja’kenlei, in addition to the other things she did in her life. Ta’Kiya was overjoyed at the prospect of being a mother to a little girl, but she never got the chance to experience that joy.

The unwavering love of Ta’Kiya’s surviving family members ensures that her legacy will continue to be carried on: her father, Timothy Young Sr.; her grandmother, Nadine Young; her sister, Ta’Nyla Young; her sister, Ta’Laya Hope; her brother, Timothy Young Jr.; her brother, Lazarus Young Lawson; and her great-grandmother, Johnnie Rouse. Her cherished mother, Danneka Hope, passed away before her. She was the first to go.

On September 7, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., a funeral ceremony will be held at The Marlan Gary Funeral Home, The Chapel of Peace, located at 2500 Cleveland Ave., with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. on that same day.

Even though we are saddened by Ta’Kiya’s passing, let us remember her vivacious energy, her laughter that spread like wildfire, and the true love she had for everyone around her. Her memories will always be a source of inspiration and happiness for us, and she will always have a home in our hearts.

Ta’Kiya Monet’ Yvette Young will be terribly missed but will never be forgotten. She will be adored and cherished for all eternity. I pray that she finally finds the tranquility she deserves.
