Tim Bierman Obituary, Death – Timothy “Tim” Bierman, 59, a resident of Island Grove, Illinois, passed away on Friday evening, August 25, 2023, at the HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham. He was taken there from Island Grove. On Thursday, August 31, 2023, at 10:30 a.m., St. Joseph Catholic Church in Island Grove will be the location of a Mass of Christian Burial for the deceased.

Following the conclusion of the service, the interment will take place at the church cemetery. On Wednesday, visitation will take place at the church from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, and immediately following the conclusion of visitation, a wake ceremony will be held for the parish. Tim Bierman, who was born in Effingham on September 29th, 1963, is the son of Glen and Marlene (Hinterscher) Bierman. His father’s name is Glen, and his mother’s name is Marlene.

It was on July 27, 1996 that they tied the knot, and his wife Lori L. Niemerg is still with us today. Tim was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Island Grove and was involved with the Jasper County 4-H. In addition to being a member of the Board of Trustees for North Muddy Township and a grain and dairy farmer, he also operated his farm in both capacities.

Tim is survived by his wife Lori; daughters Natalie Bierman of Wheeler, Michelle (Austin) Paine of San Antonio, Texas, and Stephanie (Paul) Cox of Jacksonville, Florida; grandchildren Grant Galloway of Wheeler and Rowan and Easton Cox of Jacksonville, FL; his father Glen Bierman of Wheeler; brother Sam (Stacie) Bierman of Wheeler; sisters Susan (Mike) Platz of Sigel, Linda (Dale) Pruemer, and Cindy (Tim
