Travis Neil Obituary, Death – Travis Neil passed away. Travis Randall Neil, age 29 and formerly of Lehi, passed away n Tooele County, Utah. He was living in Pleasant Grove. He is the son of Dennis K. and Layna Despain Neil and was born on August 6, 1976 in the city of American Fork, Utah. On September 26, 2004, he tied the knot with Christina Lynn Beck in the city of Reno, Nevada.

Travis was an active member of the Utah Army National Guard and worked there full time. He had already served in Iraq as part of his commitment to the United States Marine Corps. He was an avid fan of American football, baseball, and all sports, as well as hunting, fishing, camping, and any other activity that took place outside.

Survived by his wife, Christina of Pleasant Grove; step-sons, Evan, Dakota and Wayd Young; father, Dennis Neil, American Fork; mother, Layna Neil, Lehi; grandparents, Evelyn Neil, American Fork; Marlene Kent, Colorado; brother, Skyler Neil, Lehi; sisters, Vicki Neil and Latisha Neil Griffes, both of American Fork; Denna Neil Williams, Highland; Nicale and Valentine, both of Colorado; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Lehi Bull River Ward Chapel, located at 2600 No. 700 W. in Lehi, will be the location of the funeral services that will be performed on Thursday, September 15 at 11:00 a.m. Friends and family are welcome to pay their respects at the Wing Mortuary, located at 118 E. Main Street in Lehi, on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m., as well as at the Church on Thursday, one hour before the services. Full military honors will be provided during the interment ceremony at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park Cemetery in Camp Williams.
