William Hailey Obituary, Death – William Kinston Hailey, aged 86, peacefully transitioned to be with the Lord on September 6, 2023. He was born on August 1, 1937, to the late Allen Hailey and Necie Perry Hailey. A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, located at 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale. Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Stony Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Wake Forest.

Prior to the service, the family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 1:00 to 1:45 pm. He is survived by his brother, Blaine Mark Hailey, along with his wife Brenda, as well as aunts Ella Marie Perry and Barbara Smith, and uncles Herbert Junior Perry and Buck Perry. In addition to his parents, Allen and Necie Hailey, he was preceded in death by his brother, Allen Sidney, who tragically passed at birth. Also preceding him were Lula Mae Summers, Earl Perry, aunt Thelma Jones, and Janice Dick.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Providence Assisted Living for the care they provided to William. They are also appreciative of the loving kindness offered by hospice care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Knightdale Baptist Church at 15 Main Street, Knightdale.
